Moutse phase 2,3 and 4 water reticulation project receives approval

Sekhukhune District Municipality Executive Mayor Minah Bahula says the Ministry of Water and Sanitation has approved the municipality’s business plan for the Moutse Phase 2,3 and 4 water link with a budget of R1 billion.

Bahula on Wednesday officially handed over a water drilling project in Phucukane village, Ward 06 of Moutse area, under Elias Motswaledi Local Municipality.

According to the district municipality, this is the third completed water drilling project that the mayor has handed over to this area in just under four weeks.

Lemson Moropjane, municipal head of communications, said the program continues to provide much-needed assistance to communities in Sekhukhune to address water challenges.
