I have plans for all your dreams, says Cm at Chellur

Vijayawada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday appealed to people to become his best campaigners in the fight against ‘feudal forces’ in the ensuing elections. He said there is a need for healthy discussion among the family members and also in the villages on how various programs have been implemented for the upliftment of the poor in the last five years. Addressing a public meeting at Chellur near Vizianagaram, Jagan said he was working relentlessly to realize the dreams of different sections of society through various schemes. Saying that he feels “privileged” to realize the dreams of poor and marginalized sections of the society, the YSRCP supremo said he has implemented nearly 40 welfare programs for people. “I sent volunteers to the doorsteps of the elderly and people with physical disabilities to pay out pensions. I have filled nearly 1.3 lakh jobs in village/ward secretariats to fulfill the dreams of youth by getting jobs in their own villages/towns. I have been providing financial support through Amma Vodi to fulfill the dreams of mothers to send their wards to schools and colleges. I have distributed around 31 lakh housing plots to realize the dream of the poor to become property owners.” He listed the achievements of his government. He asked people whether such plans had been implemented by the previous government. “You can even rely on an effigy set up in the fields to scare away the birds, but not on TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. I want people to expose the sacred promises and misleading policies of the NDA alliance,” Jagan said.
