SANA’A April 25, 2024 (Saba) – Under the slogan “Science and Jihad”, the capital Sana’a this year witnessed early preparations and intense efforts to hold summer schools for the year 1445 AH in all districts.

On Saturday, the Sub-Committee on Summer Activities and Courses launched summer course activities in various targeted schools and mosques in all directorates.

From year to year, the effectiveness of summer schools is evident in consolidating faith identity and healthy consciousness among children and society, and their positive impact on educating the generation in good morals, purifying souls and confronting of enemy conspiracies against the nation.

One of the most prominent and important purposes of summer schools is to protect young people from false cultures, prepare a conscious generation armed with Quranic culture and faith education, and confront the enemy and his plans that are attacking the nation religiously.

An educational project

Summer courses are an educational and cultural project that builds a conscious person, enlightened by the culture of the Holy Quran. This requires everyone to feel religious and national responsibility and take effective action to make the activities and programs for the current year successful.

Today, the nation must encourage sons and daughters to enroll in summer schools, especially in light of the soft war being waged by the enemies of Allah.

Based on the interest of the revolution’s leader, al-Sayeed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and a translation of his directives, Sana’a witnessed widespread momentum and interaction in preparations in the recent period. and mobilization for the launch of the summer schools.

As part of the launch preparation program across all directorates, extensive meetings have been held for local government leadership and the Summer Activities and Courses Subcommittee to discuss the guidelines, programs, goals and responsibilities for everyone.

The preparation plan included activating the role of official and community bodies, local, executive, educational and cultural leaders, and social and influential figures, in supporting the summer schools, making them successful and achieving their faith and cognitive goals.

The head of the subcommittee, Khaled Al-Madani, noted the importance of summer schools for consolidating connection with Allah and the Holy Quran and instilling faith identity.

He stressed the importance of preserving the rising generations, investing in their free time and protecting them from destructive ideas, false cultures and soft wars.

Director of the Education Bureau, Abdul Qadir Al-Mahdi, confirmed the completion of preparations on various aspects of education and the preparation of the study plan, programs and various activities for the summer schools.

He explained that the preparation plan included implementing workshops and training for field workers, targeting 1,702 summer school officers, executives and executive committees in the directorates.

Al-Mahdi pointed out that the objectives of the summer schools are to instill concepts, values, faith identity and Quranic culture in the souls of students.

He stated that the courses include recitation and intonation of the Holy Quran, scientific, creative, sports, skill, artistic and cultural activities, competitions, entertainment and outings.

The Director of the Education Bureau stated that the data of summer school principals have been updated, the technical problems in the distribution of schools in each district have been addressed, and the follow-up of supplying and equipping the needs of typical and closed schools has been addressed. .

He referred to preparing and meeting the needs of scout camps, and organizing the schedule for the implementation of activities in schools.

The Director of Education also emphasized the readiness to activate the role of the implementing agencies and directorates in support and mobilization, both within the framework of the enlargement and its tasks.
