Top 500 fastest growing companies 2024 announced hinh anh 1

This is the 14th year in a row that the FAST500 list has been announced. The event aimed to honor outstanding achievements and great efforts of the Vietnamese business community during the recent turbulent times.

The top 10 companies are Binh Thuan Plastic Group JSC, HD Securities Corporation, Orient Securities Corporation, Imedia Technology and Services JSC, SOL E&C Construction Investment JSC, Vietnam Vitadairy Milk JSC, Taseco Land Investment JSC, Stellapharm JV Co. Ltd, CNC Technology Solutions JSC and Bee Logistics Corporation.

The rankings were based on several criteria, including compound annual growth rates, total assets, shareholder equity, pre-tax profits and media reputation.

The honored companies are key players in the construction and real estate sector. They have made significant achievements in delivering products to customers, have built an impressive reputation among the public and investors, have demonstrated strong resilience with stable financial capabilities and robust resilience under challenging market conditions.

General Manager of Vietnam Report JSC Vu Dang Vinh noted that facing the onslaught of “headwinds” in recent times, production and business activities of Vietnamese enterprises have somewhat floundered due to the weakening of overall demand, both domestic as global.

The Vietnam Report survey found that as many as 51.7% and 46.7% of companies interviewed said they had failed to achieve last year’s sales and profit targets, respectively, in 2023. Both the number of companies that met and exceeded the two targets were lower than in the 2021-2022 period. In particular, the figures of those with decreased sales and profits increased almost twice and one and a half times compared to the same period of 2021-2022.

Meanwhile, despite the ups and downs of 2023, the real estate, construction and building materials market is gradually recovering, Vinh said, emphasizing the role of the government and the flexible adaptability of companies to help them achieve a stronger recovery.

As part of the ceremony, the Vietnam Report published a bilingual report on Vietnam’s economic growth in 2024, which includes assessments of the macroeconomic outlook and business prospects for this year, and updates on challenges, growth motivations and promising sectors in the next few years. time./.VNA
